Subject Areas and Ideas to explore

I want to ensure I:- build upon previous research with Fergus on competing logics: environmental, social and commercial- encompass the individual and the group perspectives re wellbeing and agency- take an active, hands-on part in asset-based community development (whether it’s labelled this way or not) as well as being the observer / researcher- take a wide enough lens to the journey but also not get lost in the breadth of possibility, such that the research suffers for it. ProfDoc thesis will need to be focussed, with possible questions – how do hybrid organisations balance commercial, environmental and social objectives? – how does a community become and sustain resilience re food security
